Cookies and browser storage
Updated 26 October 2026. Align uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, protect account flows and remember your choices.
Necessary storage
- Supabase authentication cookies maintain your session. The library configures a maximum cookie lifetime of 400 days; session expiry or signing out can end access sooner.
- Sign-in destination and role cookies last up to 15 minutes. Calendar connection security cookies last up to 10 minutes.
- Where private preview access is enabled, its access cookie lasts up to 30 days.
- Your theme and dismissed booking-setup reminders use local storage until you clear it.
- Your cookie choices use local storage for 180 days. We ask again after expiry or a change to the consent version. This is our review interval, not a statutory expiry period.
Optional Google Maps
Interactive maps load only after you allow them. Google receives your IP address and browser information and any location you submit for distance search. Google may use its own cookies or storage; their names and lifetimes can vary. See Google’s cookie information and privacy policy. The practitioner list remains available without maps.
Analytics and advertising
Optional browser analytics, advertising pixels and browser Sentry diagnostics are not enabled. Server-side operational error monitoring is separate from browser storage.
Change your choice
You can reject optional services or withdraw permission here or through Cookie choices in the footer. Withdrawing permission after a map has loaded reloads the page to stop Google’s map runtime. It does not undo information already sent to Google or clear Google’s own cookies; those can be managed in your browser.
If your browser blocks storage, choices may apply only to the current page and you may be asked again. Cookie lifetimes do not describe how long account, payment or booking records are retained. See our privacy information.
